Earlier this year, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services announced plans to continue offering grant opportunities to support the provider network as it responded to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. In sharing that announcement, we noted that grants will be made available on a quarterly basis, so long as funding is available. Following payment of the first quarter 2021 grants, the remaining balance for the two grants is as follows:
Grant Remaining Balance
In light of these balances, we will proceed with releasing applications for the second quarter 2021 grant cycle on July 1, 202,1 for both the Day Service Sustainability Grant and the HCBS / ICF Provider Relief Grant. However, to ensure that total grant payments do not exceed the available remaining balance, we will hold on determining individualized grant amounts until the application period closes. At that time, we will calculate individualized grant payments based on received applications and determine the total of anticipated grant payments for each grant. If that amount exceeds the available remaining balance, we will reduce individualized grant payments by a set percentage, in order to remain within available funds. Once final grant determinations are complete, we will communicate directly with each applicant to share their final grant payment amount. We will also issue an announcement via the DDRS listserv to share the second quarter results and the status of future grant opportunities. We hope that these opportunities are helpful in continuing to support our provider network so that they can provide safe and effective supports to individuals and families supported through BDDS funded programs. The DDRS is a program of the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration. If you have questions about DDRS programs and services, visit us online at www.DDRS.In.gov. Comments are closed.
