The 2017 Kessler Foundation National Employment and Disability Survey: Supervisor Perspectives is the first survey to look at the effectiveness of these practices from the perspective of supervisors of employees with and without disabilities. Results of the 2017 Survey, which was commissioned by Kessler Foundation and conducted by the University of New Hampshire Institute on Disability (UNH-IOD)
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) announced they will host a Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training session on March 9, 2018, at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The training session will be held in Conference Center rooms 4 and 5 from 9 AM – 4 PM EST and is for agency nurses who work for approved BDDS providers. Once the training is completed, agency nurses will be approved to train agency staff.

Case managers who were unable to attend the Person Centered Individualized Service Plan (PCISP) trainings in the fall of 2017, will need to attend a makeup session to ensure appropriate training and preparation for the transition to the PCISP and BDDS Portal implementation.
