New service: At Charitable Advisors, we recognized that few nonprofit boards are accustomed to making difficult decisions. With more than 20 years of experience, one similarity we have found is that all boards desire to serve and support their neighborhoods or communities. During this tough time, Charitable Advisors can provide a positive, neutral voice and help your board address the issues at hand. Learn more here. INARF Members:
On behalf of all my colleagues at Mutual of America, I hope that you, your family and your employees are safe and healthy during these difficult times. We also want to say “thank you” for all the work that you are doing supporting the physical, emotional and financial health of our communities and your employees who are on the front lines of this crisis. Everyone is greatly concerned about Corona virus (COVID-19). Much is still unknown. What is certain though, is that your organization takes care of some of the higher risk populations, such as those individuals with lung conditions and suboptimal immune systems as well as other vulnerabilities. Exposing individuals and staff to the ER and other medical facilities at this time should be avoided whenever possible.
On Friday, March 26, 2020, the Indiana Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services and Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services released guidance for providers on temporary policy changes related to the COVID-19 and Appendix K.
