Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs & Indiana Office of Tourism Development Announce Quick Impact Placebased Grant Award Recipients INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and the Indiana Office of Tourism Development (IOTD) awarded just over $103,000 to 23 communities and organizations for quality of place initiatives through the Quick Impact Placebased Grant Program (QuIP). QuIP, a competitive matching grant program announced by OCRA and IOTD earlier this month, is designed to help build stronger communities through unique projects which promote engagement and interaction to enhance the distinctive character of local Indiana places for positive economic and community outcomes. With such a large workforce, it says a lot when one person is singled out for excellence. Yet, that is happening to Donna Kite of Cardinal Services. On May 3, the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) will recognize Kite at their annual conference in San Antonio. She will be honored as the 2017 Direct Support Professional of the Year for the State of Indiana.  |
