-- To: Bureau of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Providers From: Nicole Norvell, Director, Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Re: Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration Date: September 23, 2013 The DDRS’ Bureau of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (BDDS) will host a Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training sessions on November 15, 2013, at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The training session will be held in Conference Room 19 from 9 am - 4 pm and is for agency nurses who work for approved BDDS providers. -- To: Supervised Group Living (SGL) home providers From: Nicole Norvell, director, Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Re: UPDATED information regarding changes to SGL conversion project Date: September 6, 2013 As indicated in the announcement dated June 4, 2013, DDRS has evaluated the conversion process and has determined that the decision to convert Supervised Group Living home providers (SGL) to Medicaid waiver-supported living services is voluntary rather than mandatory. Via grant funds, the State will assist providers in the voluntary conversion of their group home beds into Medicaid Waiver slots. |
