August 30, 2021 – Valparaiso Country Club, Valparaiso IN: While many organizations hold golf outings in support of their mission, the annual One Amazing Golf Outing hosted by the Friends of Opportunity Enterprises (OE) truly is unique. It all began with a group of gentlemen who love golf and wanted to do something great for their community. Now 14 years later, the annual One Amazing Golf Outing is larger than ever! On August 30, with perfect golfing weather, the 14th Annual One Amazing Golf Outing was a true success, raising over $46,000 to help bridge the gap from what services OE is required to provide to what programs men and women with disabilities served by OE deserve.
“This event is titled the, One Amazing Golf Outing, and it truly is an amazing event because of the hard work and dedication of the Friends of OE Golf Committee.” states Amy Wulf, Events Specialist for OE. “We have a dynamite committee that wants to provide the best possible experience to our golfers. We accomplished this and our golfers responded. I am so grateful to my fellow committee members and the community for caring so much about the clients our organization serves,” says Christopher Runnion, Chair of the Friends of OE Golf Committee and OE Board Member.
