As Janus Developmental Services continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary of serving the community, the not-for-profit agency hosted the 11th Annual Create, Connect and Commit Fundraising Breakfast on May 3rd, at the 502 East Event Centre in Carmel. With 530 guests in attendance and over $132,000.00 raised to date, this was the largest fundraising event that Janus has ever presented and donations are still coming in! Highlights of the event included the Janus Choir performing “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman and heart-warming, inspirational stories celebrating the successes of Janus clients. Over the winter, the 502 East Event Centre’s Executive Chef, Brett Lewis, built a relationship with several Janus clients who were excited to help the morning of the breakfast with some of the meal preparation.
