Kim Opsahl's career in human services began in college, when she took a position as a Direct Support Professional to earn extra cash while she pursued her psychology degree. What started as a job turned into a calling, with Kim continuing her career in the developmental disability service industry after college and later accepting a position at INARF as Director of Membership Support. Nine years later, Kim was named as the third President & CEO of INARF, continuing the work of Costa Miller and Jim Hammond.
With an eye on the future, Kim is focused on promoting the "Three Ps" at INARF: being positive, practical, and proactive. As a member-focused organization, INARF is proud to bring together providers of all sizes and areas of expertise to advance excellence in service and supports.
Kim is currently completing her law degree at Indiana University - Robert H. McKinney School of Law. When not studying, she enjoys being auntie to an active two year old and spending time with her partner and their two dogs.
