Shepard Receives Keystone Award for an Outstanding Direct Support Professional

As part of Disability Awareness Month in Indiana, INARF is honoring professionals serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. INARF is proud to recognize Spencer Shepard, Direct Support Professional at Developmental Services, Inc. with the 2020 Keystone Award, an annual honor given to an outstanding Direct Support Professional employed in the Indiana service delivery system.

“Spencer has been there for his clients through 10 years of life...They have grown into men together and there is much mutual respect and caring. They (the clients) consider Spencer one of their best friends.” - Sherri Tredway, Developmental Services, Inc.

Shepard was nominated by Developmental Services, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides services for adults and children with mental, physical and emotional disabilities.
