-- To: Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services providers and stakeholders From: Cathy Robinson, Director, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services Re: RHS daily service rate implementation Date: August 3, 2015 The scheduled Residential Habilitation Services (RHS) daily rate implementation occurred Saturday, August 1st 2015. The new RHS daily rate will apply only to those participants who meet all of the following criteria:
It is the expectation of the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) that those participants who will be served under the daily rate methodology have the opportunity to meet with their teams within the next 30 days post implementation to evaluate individuals’ service needs and determine the most appropriate service delivery approach going forward. It is important that all services and relevant needs of each participant are considered when reviewing changes that may occur with the rate changes taking effect. Once teams have had an opportunity to meet and review all services, and have discussed and agreed to individual service needs and next steps, case managers may send any additional questions on behalf of the team to [email protected] for case by case guidance or technical assistance.
