The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) sent out the following information about the revised January 1, 2018, implementation plan for BDDS Portal and Person Centered Individualized Support Plan The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) completed a series of Person Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP) trainings in September 2017, to introduce case management innovation plans, implementation of a new service planning approach and the accompanying web-based BDDS Portal to support these efforts. The trainings proposed an implementation date of January 1, 2018, for the new web-based BDDS Portal and PCISP process. After thoughtful review of feedback from case managers and BDDS staff, BDDS is delaying the full roll-out of BDDS Portal and PCISP. Instead of a January 1, 2018, implementation date, BDDS is designing a staged roll-out as an alternative implementation approach. The revised implementation date, schedule and plan for the BDDS Portal and PCISP will be released in the near future.
Additional communication will be forthcoming regarding procedural changes that will be effective on January 1, 2018. The Division greatly appreciates the partnership with case management leadership and the critical role case managers play in successful implementation.
