The Family and Social Services Administration is hosting a Sexual Abuse & Prevention Seminar on Wednesday, December 3rd from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at the Indiana Government Center South in the Auditorium. It will include what actually has happened to real survivors, and how they found their way from being victims to survivors. The seminar will also include a discussion of how to reduce the risk of abuse and the impact of abuse. Finally, there will be a brief discussion on individual and group healing methods. Nora J. Baladarian, Ph. D., Project Director of the Disability and Abuse Project, is a clinical psychologist with a private practice focusing on trauma and abuse.
