The following communication was sent out by the Indiana Division of Aging about Public Comment on Long Term Care in Indiana. The Family and Social Services Administration is collecting public comments on Indiana’s long term care services and supports system. Input is being sought from the perspective of consumers, caregivers, advocates, direct service providers, aging network entities, case managers and other stakeholders. This input will be utilized in the drafting of a report to the Indiana General Assembly, as required by House Enrolled Act 1493. As outlined in the announcement on June 13, 2017, public comment hearings will take place on July 17 and 18, 2017, at the Indiana Government Center South Conference Center Room C from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. We still have times available for presentations – not all who have indicated that they will be providing comment have actually signed up to do so. We will take sign-ins on those days as the schedule allows, but recommend strongly that you reserve a time slot if you are interested in making public comment. A full listing of times available for both days may be found on the Indiana LTC Transformation Project Web page and to reserve a time please email [email protected]. You will receive a conformation email with your reservation.
Comments are also being accepted in written form and may also be submitted by emailing [email protected]. Please note that all comments will be posted on the Indiana LTC Transformation Project Web page. The Division of Aging is a program of the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration. If you have questions about Aging programs and services, visit them online at www.IN.gov/fssa/aging. Comments are closed.
