Opportunity of Interest: DDRS Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration May 29, 20153/11/2015
![]() Both INARF and the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) understand the need for provider agencies to receive the necessary training for their personnel so they may provide quality services to individuals with disabilities. With that, we are pleased to inform you that DDRS has announced a Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training session on May 29th from 9:00AM until 4:00PM at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The training session will be held in Conference Center Room 19, and is for provider agency nurses who are employed by approved Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) providers. Once the training is completed, participants will be approved to train agency staff in medication administration. Registration is required for this training, as there is a 40 person limit for the session. Please see the DDRS Announcement for additional details on the training session. Should you have any questions, you may contact Sondra Tarter.
All attendees must bring a copy of the “Living in the Community: Medication Administration Manual.” Please duplex when printing, as the manual is 327 pages. Additionally, all attendees must bring proper identification showing that they are an employee of a provider of developmental disabilities services and identification showing that they are a current licensed LPN or RN. Without the identification, admittance to the training will not be allowed. We hope this information is helpful. Should you need additional information from us, please contact Keith Digman.
