The Indiana Chamber of Commerce announced their 2013 Best Places to Work in Indiana earlier this week. Among this year's honorees were four INARF Associate Members: Blue & Co., LLC; Hall, Render, Killian, Health & Lyman, P.C.; Krieg DeVault LLP; and MJ Insurance, Inc.

Janus Developmental Services will host the fifth annual Create, Connect and Commit breakfast on Friday, March 15 at the Fountains Conference in recognition of Disability Awareness Month. The event will focus on the achievement of individuals with disabilities, with proceeds supporting Janus programs and services. Honorary Co-Chairpersons include Mayors John Ditslear of Noblesville, James Brainard of Carmel, Andy Cook of Westfield, Fishers Town Council President John Weingardt, and Fishers Town Manager Scott Fadness.

Blue River Services is hosting their Splash and Shiver fundraiser on March 2 in Palmyra. The event includes a 5K run or walk, as well as the opportunity to "take the dash to raise cash."

Residents of Hawthorn Glen, the new supported living community developed by Rauch, Inc. will be coming home to a new address. The Rauch Board of Directors surprised CEO and INARF Board Member Bettye Dunham by naming the main street of Hawthorn Glen in her honor. Ms. Dunham has been a driving force in the success of Hawthorn Glen and expressed her surprise and gratitude to the Board and residents.
