The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) sent out the following information about New Vocational Rehabilitation Services Claim Payment System. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Services has contracted with Public Consulting Group Indiana, to develop a web based Claim Payment System (VR-CPS). This system will allow VR vendors to view fiscal authorizations assigned to them by VR, submit claims for the services or products provided to VR program participants, and electronically manage their own vendor profile through a web portal. Upon implementation, the VR-CPS is expected to streamline and expedite the payment of VR claims to vendors while also providing vendors access to information not currently available online. Through the VR-CPS system, vendors will have access to their own profiles to assign users/contacts, determine security levels, update banking information and monitor transaction histories. The implementation of VR-CPS is expected to expedite the payment for services/products provided by vendors after a claim is approved by VR. The system will allow for 24/7 access to information, provide Help Desk support 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday, and provide detailed information to vendors regarding VR authorizations, cancellations, and supplements assigned to them, as well as the status of claims submitted by the vendor.
Vendor and VR users will receive VR-CPS training prior to ‘go live’ utilizing online and face-to-face trainings. Additionally, users will have access to online training videos after implementation. Prior to implementation of the VR-CPS, it is critical that all vendors update their information on file with VR, including banking information, to ensure vendors can gain timely access to the VR-CPS. Your cooperation in responding to requests to verify and update information will help expedite the data conversion and implementation process. Additional details outlining the process for updating vendor information is forthcoming, and will be available on the VR Vendor Registration Webpage. VR strongly encourages vendors to join the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Service listserv to ensure receipt of project updates and instructions for updating vendor information. Vendors can join the list serve by clicking here. VR looks forward to working with all stakeholders utilizing the VR-CPS to ensure a smooth transition upon implementation. The VR-CPS will allow VR to better serve program participants by expediting the payment of claims and increasing vendors’ access to detailed billing information.
