Earlier today, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) announced the addition of Extended Services as the replacement for Supported Employment Follow Along (SEFA) on the Family Supports Waiver (FSW), the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver, and the Money Follows the Person-CIH grant (MFP-CIH). Extended Services will replace Supported Employment Follow Along (SEFA) effective today, July 1, 2015.
The announcement contains pertinent information on this change, including the service definition and reimbursement rates. Providers who were approved to provide SEFA services on the Family Supports and CIH Waivers and the MF-PCIH grant were automatically approved to provide Extended Services.
On Monday, June 29, an automated conversion was completed to generate new Cost Comparison Budgets (CCB) for an individual whose CCBs include SEFA services for dates of July 1, 2015 and after.
On Tuesday, June 30, the Notice of Action (NOA) forms for any converted CCBs were sent via secure email to service providers and case managers. Providers who do not receive NOAs by end of business today, July 1 need to send a message to BDDS at Insite.Helpdesk@fssa.IN.gov with the name and RID number of the individual(s).
