Recently, the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) announced that the implementation of the new Core Medicaid Management Information System (CoreMMIS) and Provider Healthcare Portal (Portal), originally slated for December 28, 2015, has been postponed. IHCP anticipates that the new systems will become available in 2016. When the system goes live, IHCP will provide at least 30 days’ notice regarding transition and conversion activities that directly affect providers and the ability to conduct IHCP business. Additional details about expected transition periods can be found here.
INARF encourages members to continue preparing for the new system through self-directed web-based Portal training available at indianamedicaid.com. Additionally, HP staff will present information about the new system and changes at the INARF Quarterly Professional Interest Section meeting in February.
