The Indiana House Republican Caucus and Indiana House Democratic Caucus have announced their leadership teams for the 2019 General Assembly. House Speaker Brian Bosma (R-88) will remain in the role for a sixth term. Additional Republican leadership roles include Greg Steuerwald (R-40), who will serve as Majority Caucus Chair for the first time, and Matt Lehman (R-79), who will return as Majority Floor Leader. The House Republican Caucus also welcomed eight newly elected state representatives:
State Rep. Ethan Manning (R-Denver), House District 23 State Rep. Chuck Goodrich (R-Noblesville), House District 29 State Rep. John Prescott (R-Union City), House District 33 State Rep. Beau Baird (R-Greencastle), House District 44 State Rep. Christi Stutzman (R-Middlebury), House District 49 State Rep. Bradford Barrett (R-Richmond), House District 56 State Rep. Ryan Lauer (R-Columbus), House District 59 State Rep. Matt Hostettler (R-Fort Branch), House District 64 Phil GiaQuinta (D-80) will succeed Terry Goodin (D-66) as leader of the minority party. Mara Candelaria Reardon (D-12) will be Caucus Chair and Cherrish Pryor (D-94) will serve as Floor Leader. House Democrats also welcomed eight new members to their ranks: State Rep. Carolyn B. Jackson (D-Hammond), House District 1. State Rep. Ragen Hatcher (D-Gary), House District 3. State Rep. Patricia A. (Pat) Boy (D-Michigan City), House District 9. State Rep. Chris Chyung (D-Dyer), House District 15. State Rep. Lisa Beck (D-Crown Point), House District 19. State Rep. Chris Campbell (D-West Lafayette), House District 26. State Rep. Tonya Pfaff (D-Terre Haute), House District 43. State Rep. Rita Fleming (D-Jeffersonville), House District 71.
