The accomplishments of many deserving individuals were recognized during the INARF Annual Meeting of the Members held during the March 12 Pre-Conference Reception. The 28 graduates of the inaugural INARF Leadership Academy were announced and acknowledged with presentation of their Certificates. Jim Allbaugh, INARF Board Chair, and Steve Cook, INARF President/CEO, acknowledged outgoing INARF Board members - Debbie Bennett, Hillcroft Services, Inc. and Patrick Cockrum, Sycamore Services, Inc. INARF also welcomed two new Board members - Beth Eiler, Dungarvin Indiana, Inc., and Chris Nabors, Peak Community Services, Inc. Jim Allbaugh was recognized for his two years as Board Chair.
Jim Allbaugh, as one of his last acts as INARF Board Chair, recognized an individual for their contributions to the Association. In the past this award has went to Board members, state staff, and INARF consultants. This year the Special Leadership Award to Debbie Bennett, Hillcroft Services, Inc. Steve Cook also took this time to recognize two staff members who have reached landmark work anniversaries - Nanette Hagedorn, Vice President, Member Services, for 15 years of service and Wes Bickers, Account Executive, for 10 years of service.
