IHCP Updates - Published 5/21

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on May 21, 2019 (unless alternate date is noted).

Provider Reference Modules
Hospital Assessment Fee

• Added a note about the upcoming HAF extension
• Updated tables in the Reimbursement Increases and Other Payment Changes section
• Removed the Managed Care Payment Increases section

590 Program

• In the 590 Program Contractors and Resources section, removed Table 2 and added reference to the Introduction to the IHCP module for provider resources
• In the Verifying Residency in the 590 Program Facility section, updated note box information regarding potential eligibility in other IHCP programs when member is discharged from 590 Program facility
• In the Claim Submission section, added a note box about the change in the timely filing limit
• Corrected fax number in the Member Eligibility and Enrollment section
• In the Managed Care section, clarified the DFR process when a managed care member becomes a 590 Program participant
• In the Traditional Medicaid section, updated how the coverage is identified in the Portal, IVR system, or 271 transaction (to reflect changes for brokered NEMT)
• Replaced RCP Administrator contact information in the Right Choices Program section with a link to the IHCP Quick Reference Guide
• Changed mail to secure email as an alternative to fax in the Transfers section
• Updated the DXC eligibility analyst telephone number in the Discharges and Deaths of 590 Program Members section
• Clarified the process in the Name Changes and Corrections for 590 Program Members section
• Updated Figure 3 – State Form 15899 – Provider Authorization (590 Program Membership Information for Outside the 590 Program Facility)
