IHCP Updates - Published 1/29

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at https://www.in.gov/medicaid/providers/ on January 29, 2019, (unless alternate date is noted).

BT201904 – IHCP clarifies changes to reporting requirements and rate calculations for home health services

Provider Reference Modules
Renal Dialysis Services

• Added a code table reference in the Composite Rate for Dialysis section and removed three subsections
• Updated the Administration of Epoetin section with new requirements
• Removed specific procedure codes from the Billing for Physician Services Related to Renal Dialysis section

Introduction to the IHCP

• Added PA vendor information cross-references for more information to the Fee-for-Service section
• Added PACE information in the Managed Care section
• In the Self-Referral Services section, removed the list of self-referral services and added reference to the Member Eligibility and Benefit Coverage module
• Added the ISDH toll-free telephone number in the Indiana State Department of Health section
• Updated the DXC email address in the Requests for Paper Remittance Advice section
• Updated Table 1 – Provider Resources
• Updated form name in the Medical Coverage or Policy section
• Changed “FSSA call center” references to “DFR” in the Member Eligibility Determination section

The following code table updates are accessible from the Code Sets page:

• All codes were reviewed
• Removed the table of procedure codes for physician services related to renal dialysis
