IHCP Update: Published May 10, 2022

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on May 10, 2022 (unless alternate date is noted).

• Replaced CMCS references with FFS PA contractor, Gainwell
• Updated text throughout the module to reflect that crisis intervention, IOT and peer recovery are no longer MRO services
• Updated text throughout the module to reflect that APRNs can authorize and supervise services
• Updated the Individualized Integrated Care Plan Requirements and MRO Treatment Plan Supervision Standards sections
• Updated the Program Standards section for Addiction Counseling to remove NP/CNS as needing supervision and to add APRN as able to provide supervision
• Updated the Adult Mental Health Habilitation section
• Updated the MRO Claim Completion section and its Rendering and Billing Providers subsection to clarify information and reflect new enrollment policies
• Added the MRO Services Provided at an FQHC or RHC section
• Updated and clarified information at the beginning of Appendix A: MRO Service Packages
• Added new entries and removed obsolete entries in Appendix B: MRO Acronyms section
• Updated descriptions and removed obsolete entries in Appendix C: MRO Definitions
