IHCP Update: Published June 9, 2022

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on June 9, 2022 (unless alternate date is noted).

Presumptive Eligibility

• Changed DXC references to Gainwell
• Clarified that PEPW QPs and the PE Application for Pregnant Women are limited to PEPW assignments only, even if the pregnant applicant would qualify for different coverage under another aid category if applying through a PE QP/application
• Added information to the Introduction section
• Added information to the FSSA Division of Family Resources section
• Updated the Presumptive Eligibility Applicant Requirements section and subsections
• Updated the General Requirements for All PE Applicants section and its subsections: PE Adults, PE Parents/Caretakers, PE Former Foster Care Children and PE Pregnant Women
• Updated the examples in the Family Size and Income Examples section
• Updated the Completing the Presumptive Eligibility Member Application section
• Updated the Presumptive Eligibility Coverage section and its subsections
• Updated procedures in the Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women subsection for multiple pregnancies within a nine-month period
