The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at indianamedicaid.com on November 16, 2017 (unless alternate date is noted).

Taxonomy codes for rendering providers not required on claims (November 17, 2017) 
Rendering provider linkages erroneously end dated in CoreMMIS (November 17, 2017)

BT201774 – ABA therapist specialty added as eligible IHCP provider

Provider Reference Modules 
Emergency Services
- Reorganized and edited text as needed for clarity
- Added the Exclusions for Prior Authorization, Referrals, and Copayments subheading and added the statement that emergency services are self-referral
- Added the Package E Members subheading and clarified the information in that section
- In the Emergency Department Coverage and Billing section: 
    - Updated billing requirements 
    - Added information about IHCP coverage for emergency services provided in any Medicaid-enrolled emergency department
- Added HIP to the list of managed care programs requiring a copay in the Nonemergency Services Provided in an Emergency Department section 

Renal Dialysis Services 
- Added reference to Member Eligibility and Benefit Coverage module for ESRD waiver liability
- Updated the composite-rate revenue codes in the Dialysis Sessions section
- Updated the billing guidelines in the Administration of Epoetin section
- Added description for the AY modifier in the Laboratory Services section
