IHCP Important updates posted to the website - Published 10/24

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at indianamedicaid.com on October 24, 2017 (unless alternate date is noted). 

Bulletins and Banner Pages 
BT201770 – IHCP adds coverage for CPT code 91200 to assess liver fibrosis 
BT201769 – IHCP revises PA criteria for orthodontic services and allows for phased treatment 
BR201743 
- IHCP assigns maximum-fee pricing to CPT codes 77065, 77066, and 77067
- IHCP to mass adjust or mass reprocess claims for HCPCS code H0035 that denied incorrectly
- IHCP links CPT code 0474T to revenue code 940 and updates pricing
- IHCP to update outpatient reimbursement methodology for cardiology revenue codes

- Added Portal billing instructions

- Reorganized and edited text as needed for clarity
- Replaced Hewlett Packard Enterprise references with DXC Technology
- Updated the HAF extension date to June 30, 2019
- Updated Table 1 – Adjustment Factors for Inpatient Rates and Table 2 – Adjustment Factors for Outpatient Rates
- Updated the Managed Care Payment Increases section
