IHCP Important updates posted to the website - Published 10/2

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at indianamedicaid.com on October 2, 2018 (unless alternate date is noted).

• IHCP removes gender restriction on ICD-10-CM code Z85.3
• IHCP reminds hospice providers of face-to-face physician encounter requirement

• Added references to the FFS PBM and managed care subcontractors to the IHCP Programs and Benefit Plans section
• Updated Table 1 – IHCP Programs and Associated Benefit Plans
• Updated Figure 1 – Hoosier Health Card
• Replaced HIP Employer Link information and figure in the Healthy Indiana Plan Member Card section with a note box indicating that the program was ended 
        • Updated information in the Importance of Verifying Eligibility section
• In the Verifying Eligibility for a Specific Date of Service section, changed eligibility history available in the EVS to up to 7 years
• Added Figure 13 – Waiver Liability Details Panel in the Portal Eligibility Verification

• Updated information in the Medicaid Inpatient Hospital Services Only section, including adding examples of covered and noncovered services
