Indiana’s Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning (OECOSL) is partnering with Early Learning Indiana to offer nearly $500,000 in grants to early learning providers. As Indiana plans implementation of its first publicly-funded Pre-Kindergarten in pilot counties (Allen, Jackson, Lake, Marion, and Vanderburgh), the grants are intended to ensure that there is enough capacity to ensure that families have several choices of quality programs.
Titled “On My Way Pre-K,” total of 27 grants are available, ranging from $5,000 to $30,000. Licensed Child Care Centers and other education providers are eligible to apply before the deadline of February 15, 2015.to help support the successful implementation of Indiana’s first publicly-funded pre-kindergarten pilot program, On My Way Pre-K.
