The Finish Line Youth Foundation (FLYF) is a philanthropic outlet for Finish Line to make a difference in the lives of youth in the communities it serves. Notably, it provides financial support for Special Olympics fitness initiatives focused on helping athletes live a healthier lifestyle. There are three types of grants available from the foundation, which may aid the missions and values of INARF members. Programmatic Grant: This grant award is for up to $5,000. It is primarily to support opportunities for children to participate in community-based athletic programs/camps, which emphasize active lifestyles.
Legacy Grants: These grant awards typically range between $10,000 - $75,000. The Legacy Grants are for those organizations looking to make improvements and/or renovations to their existing properties. Founder’s Grant: This grant award can range between $5,000 - $25,000 and is for emergency needs. These needs can be for things that might hinder an organization from providing services (for example, a natural disaster or unexpected fiscal circumstances). Grant applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis by the FLYF Board of Directors. Organizations must be a 501(c)(3). To view the full guidelines and/or take the eligibility quiz, click here.
