The Indiana Protection and Advocacy Services (IPAS) is asking for public feedback to assist in determining which areas should be priorities for the upcoming year. To assist with this effort, a survey has been developed to identify critical barriers in five critical categories. The five categories span from abuse & neglect intervention to appropriate access to services, with opportunities to write in barriers that are not listed in the survey. Respondents are asked to choose the top three areas of concern from each category and to answer two open-ended questions regarding what barrier should have the highest priority. Questions and comments should be directed to Matt Norris, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC) at 1-800-825-4733 or cpps@indiana.edu. INARF recommends your participation in the survey and that you forward it to others. A high response rate by providers will ensure that our voice is considered in IPAS planning. By working together, we can continue to strengthen the system of services and supports for Hoosiers with disabilities. Comments are closed.
