FHCCI's FREE Virtual Fair Housing Trainings

The FHCCI is excited to announce its Virtual Fair Housing Workshop schedule for this year. These workshops are FREE to attend although advance registration is required. The workshops will all be offered live - so will also be an opportunity to interact with FHCCI staff and ask questions.

Fair Housing Basics Workshops: The FHCCI is providing monthly opportunities for attendees to attend a Fair Housing Basics Workshop. Topics to be discussed: Fair Housing Protected Classes, Major Regulations and Guidance, Case Law, and Best Practices. You only need to register for one workshop as they will be repeated monthly through January 2023. This is a two-hour workshop.
 
Fair Housing Disability Workshops: The FHCCI will also be providing monthly opportunities for
attendees to attend a Fair Housing Disability Workshop. Topics to be discussed: common types of disability based housing discrimination, disability specific fair housing regulations and guidance, reasonable accommodations and modifications, and design and construction accessibility requirements. Like with the Basics workshops, you only need to register for one workshop as they will be repeated monthly through January 2023. This is also a two-hour workshop.
 
Fair Housing 90 Workshops: This year, we are providing several opportunities for attendees to
attend a Fair Housing 90 Topical Workshop. These are opportunities to expand what you may have learned in a Basics workshop by taking a deeper dive into specific topics. Topics to be discussed: Fair Housing for Mobile Home Parks, Familial Status, Insurance, different lending and sales topics, Tenant Screening, Housing Impact, and more! These are 90-minute workshops.
