Re: CIH Transform subcommittees
Date: December 8, 2015
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) has posted, to the CIH Transform webpage, a letter sent to DDRS Advisory Council members to establish subcommittees that will advise DDRS on the proposed changes to the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) wavier.
The subcommittees will work to gather more targeted feedback on issues around the design and implementation of changes, polices, and rate methodologies to fund CIH waiver services. As established in Indiana Code 12-9-4 the DDRS Advisory Council has the task of advising the DDRS and recommending strategies that will ensure individuals with disabilities are as independent and self-sufficient as possible.
The letter may be found in the Updates and Announcements section of the CIH Transform webpage here. Providers, stakeholders, families and participants are welcome to submit questions about CIH Transform by emailing CIHW@fssa.in.gov.
