Hands in Autism® has put out a call for artists for its expo “Hidden Talents: Celebrating Abilities through Exposition”. Artists should have an Autism Spectrum Disorder or represent communities celebrating Autism Awareness Month. The submission deadline for Original artwork or prints of original artwork to be displayed at the gallery is April 8, 2015. The expo is April 23rd and 24th at the IUPUI Campus Center. Artwork can be submitted for one of the four categories:
Hands in Autism® is able to put on this expo in collaboration with the Indiana Arts Commission and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Participants are welcome to get an insight into the world of Autism Spectrum Disorder as presented by individuals with ASD, enjoy family friendly creative and informational activities, as well as learn about artists and meet them during the opening ceremony.
