INARF member Bona Vista has announced that Sam Tocco, a WorkForce Diversity Employment Specialist, was awarded the 2015 Indiana Association of People Supporting Employment-First (IN-APSE) Professional Award at the IN-APSE conference in Indianapolis. Indiana APSE is a membership organization that promotes and expands quality, community employment outcomes of choice for all people with disabilities. The IN-APSE Professional Award is given to one Indiana employment services employee each year. This award is designed to reward highly effective professionals who demonstrate trustworthiness, respectfulness, supportiveness and innovation in their interactions with supported employees, as well as with their friends, family members and employers. Sam Tocco has been with Bona Vista since 2006. He is employed through their WorkForce Diversity Program, which provides vocational services such as career placement, on the job training, and follow-up services in the community. Bona Vista works with employers who need dependable job candidates, job seekers and career changers, high school students and recent graduates searching for vocational direction, and individuals who are determined eligible for our services through Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
INARF thanks Sam Tocco for his commitment to promoting community employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and congratulates him on receiving this distinguished award. Comments are closed.
