Last week the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services announced new information related to the Medicaid home- and community-based waiver redesign project including changes to the way case management is delivered.
During the waiver redesign process, we received feedback from individuals and families that improvements are needed in case management training and consistency. With these identified needs and available approaches, we have started an initiative known as Case Management Innovation.
To help individuals and families learn more about Case Management Innovation and receive updates on our waiver redesign project we are holding a webinar on May 17, 2021, from noon-1 p.m. EDT. Join the webinar.
Frequently asked questions regarding the Case Management Innovation have been developed for individuals / families and can be found on the Case Management Innovation webpage.
DDRS continues to appreciate and value the input and feedback that individuals and families have shared with us about what they want and need from their Medicaid waiver services. Thank you for your active participation.
