On May 19th, INARF's Quarterly Professional Interest Section Meeting was well attended with 177 individuals representing 49 member organizations. The morning began with five concurrent Professional Interest Section meetings, featuring a variety of topics and presentations. Topics ranged from Overview of Employee-Related Investigations to the Importance of Cyber Liability Solutions. In the afternoon, participants were able to join State Officials at the Breakout Sessions. In an effort to enhance the information exchange opportunity, the format was revamped. Each breakout session hosted half of the attendees and involved the state official’s teams to move from room to room instead of the audience. The new format seemed to prove successful and had featured speakers from a variety of organizations including Anne Davis from Bureau of Quality Improvement Services, Dawn Downer from Bureau of Child Development Services, Kylee Hope Division of Disability & Rehabilitative Services, Theresa Koleszar Bureau of Rehabilitation Services, Cathy Robinson from Bureau of Developmental Disabilities and Matt Rodway from Waiver Ombudsman. The day finished with a very moving thank you from Kylee Hope, Director of the Division of Disability & Rehabilitative Services.
Presentations and materials from the Human Resources and Financial Management section meetings, which INARF has been authorized to post from the meeting, are available in the Members’ Only section. Remember to take the follow up survey sent on Thursday May 19 after the meeting. Comments are closed.
