The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that effective January 1, 2016, Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) providers subject to the application fee will be required to pay an enrollment application fee of $554. Additionally, providers subject to the application fee will be required to pay the $554 fee at the time of enrollment revalidation, also effective January 1, 2016. Revalidation paperwork received after January 1, 2016, without the $554 application fee payment, cannot be accepted and will be returned to the submitting provider.
In response to the tragic events of yesterday's shooting at Inland Regional Center, INARF would like to emphasize the importance of emergency preparedness and safety planning for members. INARF encourages members to review their policies and procedures regarding emergency situations and to update them as needed. The Arc of Indiana recently launched its Utility Support Program, which is designed to assist people with disabilities and their families through the distribution of funds for heating or cooling utility bills. The target families to receive the service are those served and/or eligible for First Steps Services as well as those receiving or on a waiting list for Medicaid Waiver Services. Any family, however, meeting eligibility requirements may benefit from this program.
