Employment Report (LAUS) Labor Force Estimates for U.S., Indiana, MSAs, Counties, Cities Ranking of Indiana Counties by Unemployment Rate Indiana County Map with Unemployment Rates The State Budget Agency released their April Revenue and Medicaid forecasts yesterday. There was approximately a $33 million decrease in the April Revenue forecast compared to the Revenue forecast released in December. In addition, the Medicaid forecast projected an increase in Medicaid spending of about $65 million. The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) announced that Antoinette Morris, direct support professional at Trinity Services in Des Plaines, Illinois, has been named the recipient of the association's 2019 Direct Support Professional of the Year award. Morris joins more than four dozen other honorees who will be recognized at a ceremony next month in Portland, Oregon.
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on April 16, 2019 (unless alternate date is noted).
The Senate version of House Bill 1001, the State’s biennial budget, passed out of the Senate on Tuesday, April 16 by a vote of 40-8. The current version of the budget includes a new fund called a Providers’ Rate Stabilization fund and includes a $10,000,000 appropriation per year for this fund.
