INARF is pleased to offer our members the opportunity to recognize their outstanding Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), executive leadership, community partners and persons with disabilities through the INARF Annual Awards and the Costa N. Miller Scholarship presented at the INARF Annual Conference. In the weeks leading up to the Annual Conference, we'll feature details about each award and some notable award recipients. #### The James M. Hammond III Award is named in honor of longtime INARF executive and retired CEO Jim Hammond, who devoted over three decades of his life to expanding opportunities for persons with disabilities. Mr. Hammond began his career with INARF in the early days of the organization, working closely with INARF's founder, Costa N. Miller. Mr. Hammond became INARF's second CEO after Mr. Miller's passing, leading INARF until his retirement in 2012. The James M. Hammond III Award recognizes an exceptional executive who is dedicated to outstanding service delivery, and embodies the entrepreneurial spirit, political acumen, ethical demeanor and professional posture necessary to advance his/her agency and Indiana's provider community.
