The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) and the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) announced they will be hosting another Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration session on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9:00AM until 4:00PM. The training session will be held at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis, Conference Center Room 22.

-- To: Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Providers From: Nicole Norvell, Director, Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Re: Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration Date: December 4, 2014 The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) will host a Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training session on January 30, 2015, at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The Training Session will be held in Conference Center Room 22 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and is for agency nurses who work for approved BDDS providers. Once the training is completed, agency nurses will be approved to train agency staff. The final 2014 INARF Quarterly Professional Interest Section meeting took place on November 20th, with approximately 170 members in attendance.
Following a full morning of concurrent sessions, the afternoon's General Session began with the Rubi Photo Contest Awards, where members were thanked for taking part in the campaign to increase awareness of INARF’s 40th Anniversary. After a brief industry update provided by Christiaan Campbell, Kim Opsahl introduced members to Katy Stafford-Cunningham, INARF’s VP of Public Policy. Finally, Julie Reynolds, Director of the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS), was introduced to give a presentation concerning Indiana’s Waiver Transition Plan. The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) is requesting that all organizations providing services to individuals with disabilities complete a survey to determine their ability to meet the upcoming requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
