The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services and Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services are pleased to share that both the Community Integration and Habilitation waiver and Family Supports waiver were recently approved for renewal by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Both renewed waivers will have the same effective date of July 16, 2020. These renewals include several changes to service definition descriptions, outcome measures, and additional allowable activities. Review the complete, approved waiver documents.
The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services is currently accepting applications for the first grant cycle. The applications needs to be submitted by Friday, June 26, 2020, by 6 p.m. EDT and are available on the DDRS COVID-19 Resource webpage, in the BDDS section. Interested day service providers will find an instructional guide and the link to the application.
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on June 23, 2020 (unless alternate date is noted).

The Mayor's Advisory Council on Disability had planned to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act at our annual Access and Inclusion Awards in July. Concerns about the Covid-19 virus have altered what that event will look like; however, we will still recognize the people and organizations that work so hard to make Indianapolis more inclusive for people with disabilities.
