INARF member IPMG has invited Dr. Angela Amado of the University of Minnesota’s Institute on Community Integration to present a webinar this Friday on Connecting Individuals with Disabilities and Community Members.
Earlier today, the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) posted the full service definition for Residential Habilitation and Support -- Daily (RHS Daily) services. In addition to information published in the recently approved waiver amendment, the full service definition includes documentation standards. The standards include minimum requirements to support billing and information that must be included in the documentation.

The U.S. Justice Department has announced that it entered into a proposed settlement agreement with the State of Oregon. This agreement resolves violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), impacting nearly 7,000 citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The nearly 7,000 people, who can - and want - to work in typical employment settings in the community, will not face the hurdles presented in the case.
