The INARF PAC has been busy fundraising all year but our work is not done! We have an opportunity to say a big thank you to our supporters and we want you to be one. The INARF PAC Board is offering you the opportunity to watch an Indians game in the Barnes and Thornburg suite if you increase your contribution and join the President's Circle ($500+). You will receive one ticket to the August 24 game, which starts at 7:05 PM EST. Dinner will be included with your ticket. Tickets are very limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. To ensure you get one of the limited tickets, please make your contribution by Wednesday, August 19.
It is the generous support of our partnering organizations that makes it possible for INARF and the Direct Support Professionals of Indiana (DSPIN) to provide high quality professional development opportunities to our members. Sponsorship of INARF events is a mutually beneficial arrangement that keeps costs low for attendees while increasing the visibility of the supporting companies. To those organizations listed below that have committed to supporting the DSPIN Annual Conference, we offer a sincere thank you.
Bosma Enterprises, INARF member and State Use program provider, is expanding its reach. Bosma recently announced that it will work to launch medical products under the brand: Bosma Medical.
The Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst (APSE) will be holding its Inaugural Regional Institute: from Workplaces to Workshops on November 16-18, 2015 in Detroit, MI.
The United States Department of Labor recently released proposed rules concerning Overtime Exemption that will greatly impact our industry. INARF plans to submit comments by the September 4th deadline and will share our draft comments later this month so that you do the same as well. As part of national advocacy efforts on this issue, our partners at ANCOR are requesting data to assess the fiscal impact the rules will have on our industry. To assist in this effort, all INARF Members are encouraged to participate in their survey. For reference in understanding the proposed rule, a fact sheet is available regarding the proposed rules in addition to the executive summary and the complete text of the rule.
