Thank you for your ongoing engagement in the Division of Aging's home and community-based services rate methodology project. The next Division of Aging rate methodology stakeholder meeting, currently scheduled for this Thursday, June 13, 2019, is postponed while the agency finalizes its analyses of rate data and options. We will announce the rescheduled date for the rate review meeting via email and on the HCBS webpage once the date and location details are finalized. The agency is targeting next week for the rescheduled meeting. Please watch your email for an announcement with rate review meeting details. On Wednesday, June 5, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee released a bipartisan discussion draft of legislation to reauthorize the Older Americans Act. The most recent OAA reauthorization was enacted in 2016 for a three year period that expires on September 30, 2019. Over the past several months, a bipartisan group of staffers on the Committee have worked to develop policies and legislative text for the next reauthorization. On Wednesday afternoon they publicly released their draft bill text for review and comment.
