On January 6, INARF staff, Steve Cook and Sarah Chestnut, traveled to a send off event for Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch hosted by The Arc of Evansville. At the event, staff and clients of INARF member organizations The Arc of Gibson County, The Arc of Pike County, Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, and Southern Indiana Resource Solutions had the opportunity to show their appreciation for the Lieutenant Governor and her service to the state of Indiana and people with disabilities. Individuals served by Southern Indiana Resource Solutions presented her with two pieces of artwork for Governor Holcomb and Lieutenant Governor Crouch to display in their offices in Indianapolis.

This event would be a qualifying training. Providers are not required to attend this training. We hope this information is helpful. The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services has posted the following update:
As part of efforts by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) to comply with the federal Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) will begin validating the responses to the Non-Residential Self- Assessments that were completed in October 2016 as outlined in the HCBS Statewide Transition Plan. The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services will host four Train-The-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration Training sessions in 2017.
