The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC) invites people with disabilities, parents, family members, and people in the disability field to share their thoughts about the ADA as the nation approaches the 25th Anniversary of the ADA. The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will "grade" your community's efforts in implementing the Act.
The Low Twelve Riders “Rusty Nails” Chapter of the Masonic Biker Association & American Legion Riders Chapter 42 are sponsoring a motorcycle ride across Southern Indiana. The 135 mile ride is to benefit INARF Member and State Use Provider Rauch, Inc. The ride is on Saturday, June 13th and participants who finish will be eligible for prizes such as a $100 door prize, bug splatter prize contest, poker run, longest travel participant prize, and a 50/50 drawing. On September 1st at 11:30 AM, INARF Member and State Use Provider Noble will hold its Annual Celebration Awards Luncheon. It will be held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and the short awards program will be emceed by a local television personality. INARF Member and State Use Program Provider Development Services, Inc. (DSI) will hold its Golf Classic on June 3rd. This is DSI’s 30th annual Golf Classic. Participants with enjoy 18 holes plus cart, buffet lunch, course refreshments, chances to win hole-in-one/closest-to-the-pin prizes, and a drizzle stick umbrella. Bosma Enterprises, an INARF member and State Use Program provider, is seeking nominations of individuals who have shown a strong commitment to helping individuals who are disabled reach their full potential for the 2015 Thomas C. Hasbrook Award. This award has been presented every November for the past 18 years. This year’s recipient will be recognized at the Thomas C. Hasbrook Luncheon on November 19th at Union Station.
