The Bureau of Rehabilitation Services announced the dates for a three day Intensive Transitional Programming for employment service providers and their staff.
The links to August 2016 employment data for Indiana counties, cities and MSA’s are listed below:
Last week, the Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment for Individuals with Disabilities (ACICIEID) issued its final report of recommendations to the Administration on ways to increase competitive integrated employment for people with disabilities. A draft report was issued earlier this year. INARF's national partner ANCOR is currently in the process of analyzing the final report to see if there were significant changes made from the draft final report.
As additional information becomes available, INARF will share it with members. We hope this information is helpful. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the INARF office. Last week, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) announced the initial posting of its Non-Residential Self-Assessment in the form of a PDF on the Family and Social Services Administration’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule Statewide Transition Plan Web page. Yesterday, they posted additional information about the Non-Residential Setting Self-Assessment.
Earlier this month INARF shared the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Family Listening Forum dates.
As a follow up, Steve Cook, President/CEO of INARF, went and participated in one of the many offered forums. At the DDRS Family Listening Forum a PowerPoint was provided to all in attendance. A copy of that PowerPoint can be found here. We hope this information was helpful. If you have questions, feel free to contact the INARF office. |
