-- To: All Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Providers From: Nicole Norvell, DDRS Director Re: Quarterly Provider Meeting Agenda and Webinar Registration Date: July 24, 2013 he Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) invites DDRS providers to attend the Quarterly Provider Meeting on August 1, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. at the Indiana Government Center South Auditorium or via a live webinar. The webinar will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to attend the live presentation. Congratulations to IPMG for receiving a 97% acceptable rating on their first CARF Accreditation Site Survey.
#### Tangram is proud to host Dr. Temple Grandin at the Indiana Repertory Theatre on July 9, with a book signing at 6:30 p.m. and lecture at 8:00 p.m. Registration includes hors d'ouevres and admission to Dr. Grandin's lecture. #### Pathfinder Services Community Connections was selected to receive a Wells Fargo Housing Foundation grant to fund pre-homebuyer education and counseling in the Fort Wayne area. Wabash Center, Inc. President & CEO Richard Ferguson will retire in August after four years working on behalf of persons with disabilities. Dick Rhoad, Chief Operating Officer of Wabash Center, has been named the incoming CEO.
#### After 42 years of leadership at Carey Services, Inc. President & CEO Mark Draves will retire in September. James "Jim" Allbaugh has been chosen to succeed Mr. Draves. Mr. Allbaugh joins Carey Services, Inc. after serving as Vice President of Research and Administration at LifeStream Services, Inc. in Muncie. Mr. Allbaugh earned his BA, BSW, and MBA from Anderson University. The American Network of Community Options & Resources (ANCOR) has launched their 2013 Direct Support Professional Wage Study. Indiana's provider community is encouraged to participate in this critical survey to ensure that ANCOR collects the best data possible. Providers may participate in the survey until August 31, 2013, with publication of results anticipated in Fall 2013.

The Indiana Institute for Disability and Community's Director David Mank and Teresa Grossi, Director of the Institute's Center on Community Living and Careers, have coauthored an article titled "Employment: Rewards and Investments" featured in the inaugural edition of the Journal "Inclusion," published by American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD).
