The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on March 19, 2019 (unless alternate date is noted).
The accomplishments of many deserving individuals were recognized during the INARF Annual Meeting of the Members held during the March 12 Pre-Conference Reception. The 28 graduates of the inaugural INARF Leadership Academy were announced and acknowledged with presentation of their Certificates.
Recently, the Family and Social Services Administration Office of the Secretary invited a broad group of stakeholders to call in to a Home and Community Based Rate Methodology webinar which was held, March 18, 2019, at 2 p.m.
The Division of Aging will hold a follow-up meeting on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. to discuss the HCBS Rate Methodology Project as it relates to the Aged and Disabled and Traumatic Brain Injury waiver services. The Senate continues to debate which appropriations will be included in the budget as they craft the Senate version of HB 1001. INARF Staff and consultants continue to advocate for the inclusion of an appropriation for Case Management in the budget bill, and we need to ensure that each Senator hears from as many constituents as possible regarding the Case Management appropriation request. Thus, WE NEED YOUR HELP REACHING OUT TO YOUR SENATOR OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS THEY DISCUSS WHAT WILL BE INCLUDED.
On March 13, 2019, INARF hosted it's 2019 Annual Awards Luncheon, part of the INARF “Untying the (K)Nots that Hold Us Back” Annual Conference in Noblesville for professionals serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The awards presentation coincides with Disability Awareness Month in Indiana.
