INARF Professional Development

As the statewide membership organization, INARF is pleased to be the preferred resource in Indiana for industry professionals who want to increase and strengthen their knowledge of services and supports available to
organizations supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The following list of events offer a variety of opportunities for professional development, information exchange and networking among providers across
​the state of Indiana. As an exclusive member benefit, there are select events that are offered at a discounted rate to current members and staff. Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Many of the INARF Professional Development events offer attendees the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). INARF is approved by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency to offer CEUs for: Behavioral Health Board / License No. 98000140A and Health Facility Admin Board / License No. 98000254A. The number of available CEUs is included below for each event.

The INARF Leadership Academy is a professional development program targeting employees who demonstrate a commitment to the future of our industry, leadership, and a strong drive to achieve greater levels of responsibility. The Academy is INARF’s commitment to, and investment in, the development of leaders with high potential to positively impact industry growth and success.

INARF DSP Series - a Members Only Benefit
The INARF DSP Series was developed at the request of the INARF Board of Directors as a mechanism to aid INARF members in developing their Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce. The structure of the INARF DSP Series is designed to offer quarterly educational and networking opportunities including two conferences and two webinars. The regional conferences will rotate in geographical location in an effort to reduce members’ investment in travel and staff coverage and encourage additional participation.
